Our Story

Leaving a Legacy of LOVE

Our business evolved between two determined individuals, a mother, and a daughter, with two aspiring dreams that intertwined to create Tirzah! Transforming Fairy-tale Dreams into Cherished Memories. Leaving a Legacy of Love!

HISTORY

According to Lena Armstrong, the City Librarian for 54 years and the unofficial historian of Belton, wrote “Stores were erected using native stone and were two-story with the business on the first floor, family quarters on the second. A number of these stores have survived and are still in use. The A. D. Potts building was built in the late 1860’s.”
This photo came from the Bell County Museum, and it has the date of 1870. Our building has a sign that reads “Buggies, Surrey’s, and Phaetons.”

SAVING YESTERDAY FOR TOMORROW

What once stood abandoned and condemned is now a beautifully revived piece of Belton’s history. Guided by faith, we saw beauty in the broken and purchased the building sight unseen at a tax auction—drawn in by its charm, especially the bakery window that captured our hearts.

With the incredible craftsmanship of CRW Construction, we preserved its original architecture while breathing new life into every corner. This once-forgotten gem is now a vibrant space described by many as magical, elegant, and full of love.

We believe in honoring the past while creating a space for the future—a place that strengthens our community’s roots and brings people together for weddings, celebrations, and lasting memories.

Thanks to the City of Belton’s preservation vision, we received a Facade Improvement Grant and a 5-year 100% tax abatement. We’re also actively pursuing both State and Federal Historic Tax Credits to secure this legacy for generations to come.

This is more than restoration—it’s renewal. And it all began with a single step.
